Ages 5–6
First steps into life skills.
Children learn to share, take turns, recognise feelings, listen to others and start solving simple problems through play and stories.
Ages 6–7
Building confidence and perspective.
Children practise planning, sequencing, explaining their ideas, working in pairs and teams, and understanding how their choices affect others.
Ages 7–9
Preparing for bigger worlds.
Children work on critical thinking, handling mistakes, coping with frustration, leading group tasks, and communicating clearly and respectfully.
Each level weaves together Thinking, Social, and Emotional Skills with age-appropriate themes and challenges.
No two schools are the same. We adapt our modules to:
Your school's ethos and culture
The background and needs of your learners
Themes you're already working on
We co-plan with school leaders and teachers so Little Owls feels like a natural extension of your curriculum.
A Little Owls session feels like storytime, game time and "a-ha!" time rolled into one.
We start with a quick warm-up to settle bodies and minds.
A story, challenge or real-life scenario sparks curiosity.
Children work in teams, role-play, build, decide and solve.
Children name what they felt, learnt and want to try next.
It's structured, but it feels like play.
Reading and maths matter — but so do problem-solving, emotions, listening and collaboration.
When learning feels like play, children are curious, confident and fully engaged.
With trust and space, children express themselves, solve problems and take responsibility.
We enrich what schools already do — partnering, not replacing.
How we actually teach
Children do things, not just listen to things.
We create opportunities for teamwork, negotiation and shared decision-making.
Every session ends with reflection: what worked, what didn't, what did I learn?
We start simple and build complexity as children show readiness.
We encourage risk-taking and trying new things in a supportive environment.
If it's not enjoyable, it's not sustainable. Fun is non-negotiable.
Three interconnected pillars
These pillars aren't taught separately. In every session, children engage all three — thinking through a challenge, working with others, and managing their emotions along the way.
We're a team of mothers on a mission!!
Mothers who bring decades of corporate and entrepreneurial experience — and a shared passion for building future-ready, confident young learners.
One of our founders has formally studied Early Childhood Education the Finnish way through HY+ (University of Helsinki), globally recognised as the world's leading model for early learning. This brings deep, research-backed insight into how children actually learn — through joy, curiosity, choice, and exploration.
Every program we run is thoughtfully designed: rooted in evidence-based learning, infused with heart, and driven by our commitment to create real impact — one child and one meaningful moment at a time.
Whether you're a school, microschool or parent community — we'd love to explore how Little Owls can support your learners.
