Customised for Every School

No two schools are the same. We adapt our modules to:

Your school's ethos and culture

The background and needs of your learners

Themes you're already working on

We co-plan with school leaders and teachers so Little Owls feels like a natural extension of your curriculum.

Inside a Little Owls Session

A Little Owls session feels like storytime, game time and "a-ha!" time rolled into one.

1

Warm-Up

We start with a quick warm-up to settle bodies and minds.

2

Spark Curiosity

A story, challenge or real-life scenario sparks curiosity.

3

Active Play

Children work in teams, role-play, build, decide and solve.

4

Reflection Circle

Children name what they felt, learnt and want to try next.

It's structured, but it feels like play.

What We Believe

Life Skills Are the New Basics

Reading and maths matter — but so do problem-solving, emotions, listening and collaboration.

Play Is How Children Learn Best

When learning feels like play, children are curious, confident and fully engaged.

Children Are Capable

With trust and space, children express themselves, solve problems and take responsibility.

Schools Need Support, Not Replacement

We enrich what schools already do — partnering, not replacing.

Our Pedagogy

How we actually teach

Active, Not Passive

Children do things, not just listen to things.

Collaborative

We create opportunities for teamwork, negotiation and shared decision-making.

Reflective

Every session ends with reflection: what worked, what didn't, what did I learn?

Scaffolded

We start simple and build complexity as children show readiness.

Safe, But Not Sterile

We encourage risk-taking and trying new things in a supportive environment.

Joyful

If it's not enjoyable, it's not sustainable. Fun is non-negotiable.

Our Curriculum

Three interconnected pillars

Thinking Skills

  • • Problem-solving
  • • Decision-making
  • • Planning and sequencing
  • • Critical thinking
  • • Creative thinking

Social Skills

  • • Listening and speaking
  • • Taking turns and sharing
  • • Teamwork and collaboration
  • • Conflict resolution
  • • Empathy & perspective-taking

Emotional Skills

  • • Recognising feelings
  • • Managing frustration
  • • Building confidence
  • • Handling mistakes
  • • Self-awareness

These pillars aren't taught separately. In every session, children engage all three — thinking through a challenge, working with others, and managing their emotions along the way.

About the LOC Team

We're a team of mothers on a mission!!

Mothers who bring decades of corporate and entrepreneurial experience — and a shared passion for building future-ready, confident young learners.

One of our founders has formally studied Early Childhood Education the Finnish way through HY+ (University of Helsinki), globally recognised as the world's leading model for early learning. This brings deep, research-backed insight into how children actually learn — through joy, curiosity, choice, and exploration.

Little Owls Club is built to blend global pedagogy and real parenting wisdom.

  • On our belief that childhood should feel joyful.
  • On our passion to nurture curious, resilient, empathetic thinkers.
  • And on our conviction that strong foundations built early, can shape a child for life.

Every program we run is thoughtfully designed: rooted in evidence-based learning, infused with heart, and driven by our commitment to create real impact — one child and one meaningful moment at a time.
